Professional and Facility Fee
There are two parts to the costs of your maternity care: the professional fees for your midwifery care and the facility fee for clients that choose to birth in the birth center. Our midwives are contracted with most insurance companies in Washington including Apple Health Plans and Tricare.

Financial Specialist
It is our policy to have our insurance specialist work with your insurance to estimate your out of pocket costs (deductible and co-insurances). They will work with you to devise a payment plan for each registered client with insurance. You should plan on that estimate being paid in full by 36 weeks of pregnancy.

Nitrous Oxide Use
Nitrous oxide (NO2) is a safe and effective pain relief option for families delivering at the birth center. However, the use of nitrous in labor or postpartum is not currently covered by insurance. The cost of nitrous use in labor and postpartum is $300, if only used postpartum the cost is $100.
